Today is the second post for Shopping for Good this month, with a focus on items available for purchase online. First, I'm going to share with all of you an incredibly good thing you could spend a little on this season. Every year Wreaths Across America donates wreaths to be placed at the graves of veterans in Arlington National Cemetery however over the last few years there haven't been enough wreaths to be placed for every veteran. This year, an entire section might not have wreaths: Section 60, where fallen soldiers who served in Iraq and Afghanistan are laid to rest.

You can purchase wreaths to be placed this coming weekend here at Wreaths Across America's website. One wreath costs only $15 - the new Superman movie costs more. For the wreaths to be used this weekend they need to be purchased no later than today (December 12th) so please go over and make your purchase now!

The next business I'm recommending this season is Sevenly. Sevenly is an organization that works with various vendors and charities each week to provide a market place where purchases help raise funds (specifically $7 is donated for each item purchased) for a chosen charity for seven days. This week Sevenly is also doing a special 'Seven Days of Christmas' where seven charities from throughout the past year will get a day to be donated to again. Yesterday's charity was Stand for the Silent, an organization fighting against bullying. Today's is T.A.P.S. - an assistance program offering support and tragedy assistance to the families and loved ones of fallen veterans. Sevenly sells some really great products: t-shirts, hats, jewelry, - all kinds of stuff. Here are some of my favorites, but definitely go look and find your own too!

This 18x24 'Forgive Them' print is $24. This gorgeous print would be a great gift for anyone.

This 3 pack of bracelets from Pure Vida is $30 and is a charity triple threat. Along with the $7 donation from Sevenly to the charity of the week, the bracelets are also ethically produced in Costa Rica (helping to boost their economy and community) and also Pure Vida gives a portion of proceeds to the Surfrider Foundation (an organization working to protect oceans and beaches in 18 countries around the world). With their bright colors and cute look, basically any girl (er...woman) would love these!

This iPhone 5/5S Alarm Doc is $38 and comes in multiple colors (they also have a 4/4S option). This would be great for anyone, but it's minimalist look would be perfect for any guy on your shopping list.

This great canvas duffle is $56 and would be a perfect gift for your friends and family who are the lucky prisoners of Wanderlust.

The next great site I'll send you to is the TOMS Marketplace. TOMS themselves are already a product I recommend supporting as they institute the One for One Movement which, among other things, gives a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair of shoes bought. The Marketplace works with giving vendors platforms to sell their goods and benefit various causes. Here are a couple of my favorites available there:

Little Women Women's T-Shirt
This Little Women t-shirt is $28 from Out of Print and for each of their items purchased, they donate a book to an African community in need. They have great gifts for the adorable book nerd in your life (and even some onesies for the mini-book nerds in the making).

TOMS Exclusive Baby Kit
This Baby Kit from The Honest Company is $50 and consists of products all made from non-toxic, plant-based ingredients. This is an amazing gift for those loved ones with a newly arrived or on the way tiny human! On top of the great quality products, with every purchase, The Honest Company donates essential baby gear and clothes to Los Angeles families in need.

The last site I'm going to spotlight today is Headbands of Hope. I found out about this company early this year while doing my fundraising for St. Baldrick's Foundation, where an amazing 22 year old girl named Jess Ekstrom has created a business selling headbands, buffs, and wraps. For each piece of headwear bought, one is given to a child fighting cancer and $1 is donated to St. Baldrick's to help fund Children's Cancer Research. Talk about a good cause for your accessories. Here are a couple of their products that I love, but I highly, HIGHLY recommend you go and look for yourself at the tons of different products sold.

Hepern
This headband is $14.85 - which when you consider that you're actually buying two, it's really only about $7.42! There are a bunch of different styles (some without flowers too if you're looking for something less girly) and they also make baby headbands too!

Not too long ago, Buffs became available through their new division Headwear of Hope. Again there are lots of styles (including the two pictured) and they're all only $14.85 as well. Enjoy these for yourself, the guys in your life, or the gals!

Hope you enjoyed the recommendations today and found some ideas for the loved ones you're giving gifts to this year. Remember to share with them the extra good their gift has done as well, I'm sure it will only make the present even more dear to their hearts!
